My Toolbox is operated by a French micro-entreprise (a simplified sole-trader business status). This page explains what information passes through the site when you use a tool, and what happens to it — contact details are at the bottom of the page.
No account, no sign-up
The site has no account and no login: no name, email or password is ever asked for to use the tools. There is therefore no user profile to create, view or delete.
The files you send or generate
Every file you upload (and the one the tool produces) is processed temporarily on the server for the duration of the conversion, then automatically deleted as soon as the result has finished downloading — including when processing fails or errors out. These files are never viewed, copied, kept, or shared with anyone. As a safety net, any file that is somehow never picked up (download never started, technical hiccup) is deleted automatically after one hour at the latest regardless.
Your IP address
Your IP address is used only, and temporarily in memory (never written to disk), to limit how many conversions the same address can launch in a short period — an anti-abuse measure, since these tools use significant server resources (LibreOffice, face recognition, background removal). This counter is automatically forgotten after a few dozen seconds and is never cross-referenced with any other information.
Cookies
The site sets two strictly necessary cookies, which require no consent:
- A technical session cookie that signs a CSRF-protection token — it contains no personal data and is tied to no account.
- A language-preference cookie, which remembers your chosen language for one year.
- If Google Analytics and/or Google AdSense are enabled on the site, audience-measurement and/or advertising cookies may be set by Google — only after you give consent through the banner shown for that purpose (provided by Google, called "Funding Choices"). You can change this choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies.
Third-party services used
When enabled by the site's operator, Google Analytics (audience measurement) and Google AdSense (advertising) are the only third-party services that may receive data about you (anonymized IP address, interactions with ads), and only with your consent. See Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com) to learn more or manage your advertising consent.
Your rights
Since the site keeps no identifying data about you after your visit (no account, files deleted automatically, IP address not logged), there is no profile to access, correct or delete. For measurement and advertising cookies subject to consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time via the consent banner or your browser's settings. For any question about this policy, see the Contact section below.
Security
The site applies security headers (Content-Security-Policy, CSRF protection, HttpOnly cookies) and recommends access over HTTPS. No sensitive data (password, payment details) is ever requested, since no account exists.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, in particular if the site or the third-party services it uses change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
